We attended the IMF/WB Spring Meetings over 14-17 April, hosting a number of bilateral meetings with IMF mission chiefs, resident representatives, country teams and investors. Our meetings covered 33 countries in all, including virtual sessions held over 7-10 April.
We wish to thank all of our hosts for their time and for the constructive and open nature of the discussions, which were invaluable to us and to the investors attending. The views expressed here are however our own.
In this report, we provide our key takeaways and highlights on seven countries: Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Mozambique, Senegal, and Zambia in SSA, as well as Suriname in Latam. We also make a comment on Venezuela.
